Memorial Weekend Campout

Every Memorial Day weekend we are fortunate to get to camp with Yutzy Cousins, Uncles, and Aunts at my Grandpas old farm. Campers are setup in the chicken yard and 2nd cousins run free in the safety of the country. Nobody blares loud music into the night and games are constant.

Last Thursday was Abigail's last day of Little Lambs preschool. On to Kindergarten!

Some of our Shrubbery had outgrown their rock home and it was time to expand it. 1.5 tons of rock later this is the new look:

Lawn out of control

The combination of heavy rain and a few evening meetings the nights it wasn't raining resulted in this 9 days without a mowing mess. I couldn't mulch and I filled a bag in less than a lap so I just threw it. Not proud of my yard today. I miss my slow growing hybrid grass at the old house.
