Neighborhood VBS 2009

This summer with the church building under construction VBS was taken to the neighborhoods. We hosted one site. While we would have loved for even more kids to come we had a great time with those that did. The week's teaching was purely evangelical. Fathers Day 2009

Today we drove to Buhler to celebrate Fathers Day. A fun day. In addition to the family picture it seemed right to take a picture with all the boys for some reason.

Campout #3

Last weekend we got away for our third campout of the season. We spent plenty of time in the lake but there was much other fun had around the campsite.
We camped at Cross Timbers State Park. Oak trees abounded and there were lots of trails we should have explored but will have to get to next time.

Big bike ride, Little kids

Tonight we planned to go swimming after I got off work. The YMCA had their pools closed so we decided to do a bike ride. Last week the boys decided they were too big for the trailer so they are now on Tag-Alongs. The girls were the ones who really had a workout. Abby has only been on two wheels a couple of months. Nobody complained as we rode just under two miles tonight. I suppose the ice cream helped.

Tammy and Paul came through en route to Texas. Tina happened to catch Elliana making a new funny face; this was followed with a smile since she made everyone laugh.
